Democrat Tram Nguyen was endorsed the the Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund Monday.
Nguyen, a newcomer to politics, is campaigning against incumbent Republican Jim Lyons to represent the 18th Essex District in the Mass. House of Representatives.
“Tram Nguyen understands that a clean energy economy will benefit towns like Andover as well as the rest of the Commonwealth while fighting climate change,” said Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund Executive Director Joe O’Brien. “She knows that a healthy environment and a healthy economy are not at odds.”
“Tram Nguyen will make the environment a priority,” said ELM Action Fund President Elizabeth Henry. “The people of the 18th Essex district deserves a strong leader like her in the Statehouse to truly represent their values.”
