In the 18th Essex District, Tram Nguyen cruises to second term

Democratic incumbent Tram Nguyen cruised to a second term in Tuesday's election, beating back a challenge from Republican Jeffrey DuFour, 61.9% to 38.1%.

"I'm really just so humbled and honored to have this opportunity to continue to serve the district, and just so thankful for my volunteers for all the time and effort that they put into this campaign," Nguyen said. "I'm blown away by their kindness and constant support."
