An immigrant to the United States as a toddler, Tram Nguyen has embodied the American Dream.
Now an attorney, specializing in immigration law, she is helping others achieve the same dream.
But this year, she decided to try and take her talent and passion to Beacon Hill and is challenging State Rep. Jim Lyons, R-Andover, for his seat representing the 18th Essex District.
The 18th Essex is a terribly gerrymandered district that includes portions of Andover, Tewksbury, North Andover and Boxboro.
Recently, Your Tewksbury Today Editor Bill Gilman sat down with Nguyen for a wide ranging interview that touched on a variety of topics, as she seeks to get her message out to the voters of the district.
